25 years of groundbreaking history

1998 —

Founded as "Metroptic" under Berkshire Hathaway's ISCAR IMC Group—a global industrial manufacturing leader of cutting tools and metalworking solutions.

2000 —

Vladimir Karpovsky, CTO, installed the first inspection system to break free from the constraints of traditional CMMs.

2005 —

Divested from ISCAR and expanded into Asian markets.

2010 —

Launch of Blazer Series—radically accelerating precision measurement and reshaping how manufacturers inspect complex parts.

Rebranded to "MTL 3D" and expanded into the European market.
